Error Description:

Error 1311 - dat1.cab could not be found
Source file not found (cabinet): D:\filename.cab. Verify that the file exists and the user can access it
Setup executed an invalid Instruction
StringProduct_name was not found in String Table
Unhandled exception Error #0x80040706 Description Object reference not set

Resolution:

This behavior may occur if the Windows 2000 security policy is set to restrict CD access to the locally logged-on user only. Windows Installer cannot access the CD fully.

This behavior might also occur if your system has security software in place that disallows installation of software. Please contact your IT department for assistance with installation.

To resolve this problem, copy the contents of the CD to a folder on your hard disk and then run it from the hard drive.
