Runtime error 429 activex component cannot create object

Error Description:

Runtime error 429 activex component cannot create object
Runtime error 430 class does not support automation or does not support expected interface

Resolution:

The errors above may indicate that the Brown ADD Scoring Assistant did not install properly. Please make sure the program is fully up to date. For current product updates, please click on DOWNLOADS at the top of this page. If the software is fully up to date then follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the software:

  1. Close all open applications and make sure all anti-virus software is disabled before continuing
  2. Click START | RUN
  3. Type in: appwiz.cpl
  4. Click OK
  5. Locate the Brown ADD Scoring Assistant and click CHANGE
  6. Setup wizard will appear, click REMOVE
  7. Once software is completely removed, reinstall software
