Setup.exe is not a valid path

This is a workaround that has been known to resolve the error ""D:\Setup.exe is not a valid path.""

1. Create a shortcut on the desktop to the file Setup.exe on the installation CD.
2. Right click the shortcut and choose Properties.
3. On the General tab click the Advanced button.
4. Check the box for Run in Separate Memory Space.
5. Press OK, then Apply.
6. Launch the Setup by double clicking the shortcut you just modified.

The install should proceed normally. This process may also be necessary to do for the program shortcut as well.
