Error Description:

Illegal operation in Vbrun300.dll
Vbrun300.dll caused a general protection fault in module xxxxx

Resolution:

If dll or other system errors occur after installation, backup the database, uninstall CVLT-II, turn off all background applications, and reinstall.

To backup the database:

  • Begin at the Windows desktop and right-mouse click Start, select Explore.
  • Double-click Program Files and highlight the folder C:\CVLT II SA\Data.
  • Click Edit, Copy.
  • Display the contents of the drive or folder to which you want to copy the files.
  • Click Edit, Paste.

Close all background applications, including toolbars, anti-virus software, and Internet or modem connections and reinstall CVLT II.
