Frequently Asked Question:

Why do I see warning messages when doing a WISC-IV and WIAT-II combined report?

Resolution:

If the difference between the WISC-IV and WIAT-II assessments dates are 6 months to a year, a warning message displays when the combined report is generated. The message reminds the user that results should be viewed with caution due to the extended time between administration of the tests. The A-AD tables will still display on the report.

If the difference between the WISC-IV and WIAT-II assessments dates are greater than one year, (366 days or more) then the warning message reminds the user that results should be viewed with caution due to the extreme extended time between administration of the tests. The A-AD tables do NOT display.

Note: This is the correct function of the Scoring Assistant. The Psychological Corporation strongly recommends against any comparison of WISC-IV and WIAT-II beyond 1 year difference in administration date.
