CVLT-II is designed for installation to the local hard drive and can be installed to the local hard drive of a workstation. The software is not network server-based software and will cause system errors if used in an alternate setup. CVLT II does not lock the files when a user is in the program, and the files remain in active use. If you are using the program when another user attempts to launch and access the data, the program will fail, the data will be lost, and the program files may become corrupt.
CVLT-II Windows minimum hardware requirements:
- Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Win NT 4.0 Workstation (not the server drive), ME, and XP, VISTA, WINDOWS 7
- Personal Computer with a 486 processor or higher and at least 12 MB of RAM
- Approximately 14 MB of free disk space
- CD-ROM and 3.5-inch floppy diskette drive for CD-ROM version
- 3.5-inch diskette drive only for diskette version
