 | Article ID: 4055 Last updated: 08 Jun, 2011 Error Description:QLocalInstall.log shows: [timestamp] : Program `QLocalUpgrade.exe` returned an error when running with parameters: [timestamp]: `1.5.12 2.3.17` [timestamp]: Return code was -1. QLocalUpgrade shows: Failed to connect to the Q Local database [timestamp]: Failed to connect to the Q Local database. Resolution:This error normally reflects an issue with the SQL Server driver or a corrupt/missing SQLDMO.dll on a Window 2000 Operating System . Check ODBC data sources for SQL Server driver (match a healthy system), and ask if backup and restore used to work. To resolve this issue update the Q local software to the latest version. Be sure to verify that software is installed on a working valid Operating system for the updated software. If the Operating System  is not compatible with the latest Q local update (currently 2.5), or if the error persists a clean uninstall and reinstall of most up to date version of the Q local software that is compatible with the Operating System may be needed. *Note Q Local 2 2.5 Will not work with Windows 2000 and Windows XP SP 2.
