Error Description:
Error 743/ error line 60 unable to create and activate a new instance of wr/wisc4 asuc.wr wisc4.uc
Resolution:
This error is caused when the Writer cannot make changes to its files in the install folder PsychCorpCenter. Please verify the following:
- You have Full Permissions to this folder and all subdirectories. This is especially applicable in Windows NT, 2000, or XP. Your technology department should be consulted for help with this. Right Click on the start button and go to Explore. Find C:\TPC folder. Right click on it and go to properties. Choose the Security Tab and choose Users. Give full control by clicking on the full control allow box at the bottom. Do the same for the C:\program files\common files\Psychcorp center folder.
- Low disk space may also cause this problem. Please make sure you have at least 200 MB of free space on your hard drive.
- Not enough free resources available to your computer at the time you use the software. You can free up resources by closing open programs and emptying your temp and temporary internet files. Your system may even benefit from a reboot.
