Check for the following:

• Is the disk in the drive that you are trying to read?
• Can the directory of the disk be read with this computer or another computer?
• Can the directory of a different disk be read on the same computer today?
• What is the error message?
• That you are using the true screen printed copy of the software and not a replicated/burned copy.
• If you are installing an update, try downloading the file again.
• Download and install the latest installer package from Microsoft.
