Backup the database for ABAS II

How To Backup the database for ABAS II:

The default path to the ABAS-II Scoring Assistant program folder is: C:\TPC\PsychCorpCenter, and the database is stored in the Data folder. The full path is: C:\TPC\PsychCorpCenter\Data\. To avoid losing your database files because of a hardware or system failure, regularly make a backup copy of the files to another drive as shown below.

Follow the steps below:

1. Launch PsychCorpCenter.
2. Click Options
3. Database Utilities
4. Backup.

The default backup location is C:\TPC\PsychCorpCenter\Backup\*.bkp. The numerical file name signifies the year/month/date saved, as in {200201030823.bkp}. When uninstalling and reinstalling, save to an alternate location outside of the TPC\PsychCorpCenter\Data folder.

Additional Notes:

To restore the database with ABAS-II Scoring Assistant:

1. Click Options
2. Database Utilities
3. Restore.

You can also use Windows Explorer to copy the database file back to the TPC\PsychCorpCenter\Data folder.
