Frequently Asked Question:

Previous database found after installing new PsychCorpCenter software

Answer:

The PsychCorpCenter provides a common interface for assessment-type products. While installing a new PsychCorpCenter assessment software does not delete previous installations, it does add new components and enhancements to the existing installation.

The software features a common platform and a common database for all examinees and assessments entered. You will find that the screen displays are similar and data entry/report generation uses the same procedures. Using different components of the PsychCorpCenter Assessment Center, you can enter assessments for other tests.

When you install new updates/upgrades or uninstall a program, PsychCorpCenter does not remove the current database. The database remains on the system for use with current PsychCorpCenter software, and for use with the uninstalled product in case you later reinstall the software. It will only be removed if you uninstall all PsychCorpCenter software and delete the program folder C:\Program Files\PsychCorpCenter\.
