With the WAIS IV core subtests, if a candidate gets multiple scores of zero on the core subtests the clinician will not get composite scores. A score of zero on two of the three subtests that contribute to the VCI including potential substitutions, a VCI GAI and FSIQ will not be generated. Same applies for the PRI including potential substitutions; no PRI GAI or FSIQ will be generated. This also applies for WMI including potential substitutions; no WMI or FSIQ can be generated. Same rule applies to the PSI including potential substitutions, no PSI or FSIQ will be generated. For additional information please refer to the WAIS IV Administration and Scoring Manual page 54.
