WELLA is the Wyoming English Language Learners Assessment Rapid Reports.
It is almost identical to the SELP online site. It is used only by the state of Wyoming.
From here on out, Wyoming customers will be entering all data only on the WELLA site.
Grade K-2 will be scored using the SELP norms and reported with SELP reporting (within the WELLA site) and grades 3- 12 will be scored using WELLA norms and reported with WELLA reporting.

A Pre-ID data file with 1699 students was loaded into WELLA. It contains minimal demographic data only.
The guidlines for loading students into WELLA was decided by the state of Wyoming.
If a student fit the classification for the Wyoming PAWS test, they will have a Pre-ID file loaded into WELLA. If not, the student will have to be entered into WELLA manually. These Pre-ID students were loaded into ""Default Grade"" classes within the school present in the Pre-Id file.
Grades not included in the Pre-ID file are K, 1, 2, 9, 10, and 12.

WELLA has a new enhancement that is not available in SELP, the ability to generate Class Proficiency reports for closed test windows. Otherwise, all functionality between WELLA and SELP is exactly the same.

NOTE: Previous data entered in SELP is not availiable in WELLA. A user may still log back into SELP and run reports on past data for individual students. However, they will not be able to search for students in SELP or enter data for those students. So they will need to know which district, school, and class in which the student exists, in order to create a report.
