Illegal operation at report screen
Resolution:
We have been unable to recreate this error, but certain areas should be explored.
- SAWS-A is memory intensive, and producing reports on a system that has minimal hardware requirements may cause a system crash. The minimum system requirements include 486 processor or higher, 8 MB or more of RAM, and 10 MB or more of free space on your hard disk. To avoid system crashes, exit the program occasionally to restore memory.
- Be certain to close open applications before installing SAWS-A. If problems continue, it may be necessary to close open applications when running SAWS-A.
To disable or turn off open applications:
- Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del] to bring up the Close Program screen.
- Highlight the open application and click End Task; repeat for other applications. Do not close Systray and Explorer as these items are required by your system.
The SAWS A is no longer available for purchase. Support for this software will continue for computers that fall within the parameters of the system requirements. For a list of system requirements please see the article in this section titled “System Requirements”
