Why are the Writing and Writing Conventions scores for grades 1 through 12 missing from the Export file
Pearson was directed by the state of AZ to provide scores in a manner that matches what is required by the SAIS system as well as the student report. The Writing (strand 4) and Writing Conventions (strand 2) scores are combined in the Total Writing score (strand 14) for grades 1 through 12. You will not see seperate scores for these two items in the export. Grade K has Pre-Writing (strand 4) scores. Total Writing does not apply to Grade K (Preliteracy level).
