Testing the Bandwidth

Bandwidth should be measured using http://speedtest.lightbound.com. This is a testing tool provided by the production data center at pan. There is both a download and an upload test.

Bandwidth Recommendations

The following bandwidth recommendations are based on number of workstations (bandwidth per workstation) as measured using http://speedtest.lightbound.com.

1 - 5 workstations	1.5 Mbps ADSL, Cable, T1 or greater
5 - 10 workstations	3.0 Mbps ADSL, Cable, T1 or greater
10 - 15 workstations	4.5 Mbps ADSL, Cable, T1 or greater
15 or more workstations	6.0 Mbps ADSL, Cable, T1 or greater

(Speeds indicated refer to the download speed.)

Note that image-heavy assessments (for example any of the Raven's™ assessments) can take awhile to load even with a good connection/bandwidth. Keep this in mind when considering your bandwidth needs.
