Problems may occur while installing GRADE or GMADE on a VISTA or Windows 7 machine. The installer will run, but no icons will be created.
To install the software:
- Insert GRADE or GMADE CD.
- A small window may appear with two options, if it does, select "Open Folder to View Files" and skip to Step 4.
- If no window appears or if the CD is already in the machine, click Computer from the Start Menu. Right-click on the GMADE/GRADE CD or DVD drive and select Open.
- There will be a file called "Setup." Right-click on it and select Properties.
- Click on the Compatibility tab near the top of the window.
- Check the checkbox next to Run this program in compatibility mode.
- Underneath the checkbox there is a drop-down menu. Set it to "Windows XP Service Pack 3."
- Click Apply and OK.
- Double-click Setup and the program should install.
