How do you make the black bars disappear?

Answer:

Gray Bars in Tables and Qualitative Bands in Graphs are formatting options for reports. This shading may enhance the readability of reports, but on some systems, the gray bars display and print as black bands that obscure the data. You may select or deselect either option by marking the check boxes on the Format screen. To remove gray bars from reports:

1. Click Options
   
2. Select Format
   
3. Deselect Gray bars in tables
