Errors may occur if you are trying to print to a network printer designated as anything other than a traditional local port such as LPT1 or LPT2. The CVLT-C Scoring Assistant w/Report Writer software will not print to a USB port. Try installing a generic LaserJet printer driver from the Windows printer list and capture your network printer. If you are unsure about the printer driver choice, please see your administrator or check the printer manufacturer's website. If you are using a network printer you may also try capturing an LPT port to the printer you are using.

Check for the following:

1. The default printer in Windows Control Panel and the CVLT-C printer setup screen is listed correctly.
2. The printer is on-line and ready to print, and works properly with other Windows applications.
3. The network printer is designated as LPT1 or is going to the correct networked printer.
4. Have your network technical support check for conflicts between network printing and CVLT-C.
5. Trying installing a generic Windows printer driver. You may need to check with the printer manufacturer if you are not sure what drivers the printer will recognize.
6. Try capturing LPT1 to the printer you are using.
7. According to Microsoft's Knowledge Base article Q130650, users may experience unreliable printing when the name of the shared network server or printer model you are using contains spaces. To correct this problem, remove the spaces from the name of the print server or shared printer. You can replace the space with an underscore (_).
