Frequently Asked Question:

The date entered as the date tested is not being accepted

Answer:

The date tested must be entered in a four digit format such as 1997.

The CVLT-C will only accept the date format in the U.S. standard Month/Date/Year (mm/dd/yyyy) format. The current system date is entered by default for Date Tested, although this can be changed manually. The complete year must be entered. The format for Date of Birth is also mm/dd/yyyy, and you must enter the complete year.

If the program has been working properly, but suddenly gives error messages or locks up when entering dates, check your system settings to ensure you are using standard U.S. date formats:

  1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Regional Settings (Regional Options).
  2. On the first tab for Regional Settings Properties, check for the correct country and language.
  3. This setting must allow for dd/mm/yyyy.
  4. Click the Date tab and ensure that the date format is set for mm/dd/yyyy.
  5. Click Apply and OK.

Note: Version 1.0 of CVLT-C Scoring Assistant calculated a wrong child age by one year. Version 1.1 does not have this age calculation error. For assistance, please contact the Technical Support Center by phone at 1-800-249-0659 (commercial 1-817-820-3703) or by email at esupport@pearson.com."
