How to get the Error Analysis and Observations in the report:

The Error Analysis tab window allows you to indicate zero scored items to be included in the error analysis section of the report. The process is explained on page 175 of manual. Examiner is to input the numbers of the first and last items given (not answered correctly).

When you create a set for Reading Comprehension, items might be included for target words, which are not part of error analysis or recorded in the raw score.

Follow the steps below:

To create a set

  1. Select a subtest from the drop-down list. The subtests listed will depend on the age of the child at the time of the assessment.
  2. Type the beginning and ending item numbers of items administered for the subtest in the appropriate boxes.
  3. Click the Create Set button to create the item set for error analysis. The item set appears in the Set Items list box.
  4. Click the right arrow button to move items from the Items Administered list box to the Zero Scored Items list box one at a time, or click the double right arrow button to move more than one item.
  5. Click the left arrow button to move items from the Zero Scored Items list box to the Items Administered list box one at a time, or click the double left arrow button to move more than one item.

Additional Notes:

If an examinee misses an answer that is part of the basal and the examiner has to backup to the previous section, then the answers given in the basal should not be included in the error analysis.
